The committee for The Art of Botanical Illustration (TABI) Exhibition is on the hunt for an engaging botanical artwork to promote the next TABI 2026!

We kindly invite artists to submit images for use on promotional materials.

This is an exciting opportunity of exposure for the artist as the selected Hero Image will be used on invitations, catalogue, and media releases for TABI, Australia’s premier botanical art exhibition.

TABI 2026 will be held on Friday 18th Sep – Sunday 4th Oct 2026. The exhibition will be a hybrid exhibition in Domain House, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and online.

A number of other images, in addition to the Hero Image, will also be selected for promotion of TABI 2026 in our electronic and social media communications.

For selection, the work:

• Must be original and must not have been exhibited previously.
• Must have been completed since TABI 2024.
• Needs to stand out as a suitable image for promotional purposes i.e. for graphic design
• Must be submitted for selection for the TABI 2026 Exhibition.
• Needs to meet the Exhibition selection criteria i.e. be botanically correct and named.

Submission Details:

• Deadline: 1 December 2025
• Artists need to submit images in a high-quality digital file format i.e., 300 dpi JPG file, with 25cm on longest edge. Please name the file ‘Artist Name_Botanical Name’.
• Submit via email to Jessie at hello@jessieroseford.com with the Botanical Name and your contact details.
• Images should be no larger than 10Mb.
• Please be aware the work – with the artist’s permission – may be cropped or only partially used to fit the optimum image size.
