Introduction to Botanical Art Workshops

Introduction to Botanical Art - an introductory workshop

These intensive courses, designed for those embarking on their botanical art journey, introduce students to the basics of botanical art. This includes some history of botanical art, basic botany to use in your rendering of plants and flowers and the materials you may use for botanical art. You will also learn about various colour theories and techniques and the creation of a finished realistic watercolour rendition of your subject.

All introductory workshops are conducted by one of our tutors, all of whom are outstanding and renowned artists in the field of botanical art and also experienced teachers.
