The Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne are delighted to host the eighteenth biennial The Art of Botanical Illustration’ (TABI) Exhibition to be held from Friday 19th September until Sunday 4th October 2026.

TABI is one of Australia’s leading botanical illustration exhibitions. Celebrating the beauty and scientific tradition of botanical art, it showcases talented artists from Australia and around the world, and attracts a large audience of art lovers,  gardeners, collectors and nature lovers.

The exhibition will be presented as a hybrid exhibition, with a physical exhibition held at Domain House, Melbourne, and as a virtual exhibition.

We are now welcoming submissions for TABI 2026.

The deadline for artists submitting artworks for selection is, 

Friday 10th July 11.59 PM.

To submit your entry please ensure you have read and completed out 5 TABI Entry Steps below;
