The tomato is the world’s most popular fruit and is the subject of Penny’s latest book, Tomato: know sow grow feast,  that won a gold medal in the Independent Publisher Awards, judged against books from all over the world.  Penny will cover the history of the 220 plus heirloom tomato varieties in Australia and explain how to breed your own heirloom tomatoes at home.  She will detail why tomatoes are so good for you and even why a red tomato is red! This talk will cover everything anyone ever needs to know about selecting, growing and using the best and tastiest tomatoes in all districts and climates.  For the tomato lovers!

How to Book

1. Members - Sign into your account using current details. Do not create a new account with a different email address. If you are having trouble signing in please contact the Friends' office on (03) 9650 6398

2. 
Non-members - log in using a previously set up account or create a new account. Then follow above instructions.

 

 3. Book for the event with the Register Myself button. (Choose registration option (member/non-member/student) if required).


4.

For certain events, you may book extra tickets under Extra Tickets heading further down the page.


6.  For manual bookings use the downloadable booking form on the Booking Instructions page and send to the Friends' Office.
