Helping Hands Gardening Group
Get involved in gardening in E Gate Lodge garden or Eastern Lodge Garden

There are a number of Helping Hands Gardening Groups who work in and around some of the Melbourne Gardens' lodges and cottages.

- two groups meet on the second Wednesday of each month, working from 8am to noon. They work in the E Gate Lodge garden (Birdwood Ave) and also in the Eastern Lodge garden (Anderson St).
- one group works in the Gate Lodge (Friends' Office) garden once a month 
- one large group work twice a month in the Plant Craft Cottage Garden (2nd & 4th Tuesdays)

If you are interested in joining any of the above gardening groups you can read more about them and download a Volunteer's form and contact the Friends' Office on (03) 9650 6398 to be put in contact with one of the Convenors. Volunteers do need to be members of the Friends so Join Now if not already a member.

How to Book

1. Members - Sign into your account using current details. Do not create a new account with a different email address. If you are having trouble signing in please contact the Friends' office on (03) 9650 6398

2. 
Non-members - log in using a previously set up account or create a new account. Then follow above instructions.

 

 3. Book for the event with the Register Myself button. (Choose registration option (member/non-member/student) if required).


4. 
 If you wish to book for more than one event, after Registering for the first event, go back to the Events list, choose and then Register for the next event, repeating this until all events wanted are booked, before proceeding to Checkout via red button at bottom of page.


5. 
For certain events, you may book extra tickets under Extra Tickets heading further down the page.


6.  For manual bookings use the downloadable booking form on the Booking Instructions page and send to the Friends' Office.
