Ancient Dye Workshop [10] POSTPONED

Join us at the Plant Craft Cottage and learn how to dye with ancient dyes

Ancient Dye Workshop

Natural dyeing is a process of colouring fleece, fabric and yarn with dyes from plants or insects. Until the mid-19th century, all textiles were dyed with natural colorants since there was no other source of colour.

Come and join us in a workshop exploring the range of colours we can still create using some of the techniques from history.

We will explore reds, yellows and blue and combinations of these to create colours from the spectrum.
